Danielle Blog on New Eco Packaging

"At Aussie Time Sheets, we take pride in reducing our carbon footprint as much as we can. We've only got one chance at taking care of our planet so let's do this together".

That's why we have ditched the black plastic wrap and replaced it with our eco-friendly compostable mailer bags. Compostable mailers are a great environmentally friendly alternative to regular plastic mailer bags, plastic wrap and bubble wrap. Compostable mailer bags are used to ensure your orders are safe on their journey to you.

Eco-friendly Mailer Bags

The eco mailer bags are made from plant-based materials, cornstarch, and other compostable materials. They are certified to home and industrial composting environments, turning into organic fertiliser. The bags are waterproof, keeping your order safe from the rain and elements.

Eco-friendly Mailer bags are:

  • Made from Cornstarch
  • Have 0% Plastic
  • Waterproof
  • Certified Compostable

Eco-friendly mailer bags have assisted us with our approach to sustainability and reducing our impact on the environment. We have not only replaced the black plastic wrap and bubble wrap with the compostable mailer bags, but we also pack your orders with our biodegradable edible packing peanuts. All our payroll Bundy clock time cards are printed on recycled paper.

The Australian Packaging Covenant has a new sustainable pathway for the way we manage packaging in Australia. They have set a national target to have 70% plastic packaging being recycled or composted by 2025.

We all want a greener future.
